My husband and I were just in Lublin about a month ago. We walked the Old Town and pedestrian areas until 2 a.m., each night (morning) we were there, without any problem whatsoever. I never felt unsafe. Please note that most places close down fairly early in Lublin. We had to search for someplace to go after 11 p.m.

In general, Wroclaw city centre is safe at night, especially in the Main Square area. The police patrols are frequent and street violence or fights in clubs are rather rare. You can enjoy the nightlife and you shouldn't be affraid but general precautions should be taken just like in any other city in Europe.
