It is an Xbox 360 version of the controller. IIRC, almost all Guitar Hero controllers that have are wireless used a 2.4GHz connection, however it was not Bluetooth or anything, it was proprietary. The only ones that used Bluetooth was the Wii (except the GHL) and the iOS one (i think) Just buy the dongle, infact buy the dongle + xbox360
That answers it, so I can play with a controller. I am not sure if it's worth the price of the guitar after seeing them for $50 to $60. I just want to try it first, then see if I should buy a guitar
